From small-batch hand crafting in North Carolina to ensuring our factories are energy-efficient, sustainability is at the heart of our eco-friendly sofas. Much of our sofa materials and packaging are recyclable, free of harsh flame retardants, and contain low VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

As a forward-looking furniture brand, we set out to design an eco-friendly sofa. Environmentalism isn't a trend for us. It's a way of life. Each piece of furniture we create contains only SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certified wood, non-toxic water-based finishes, 95% recycled steel components, and seat cushion padding made from 100% recycled polyester fibers. Our sustainable furniture is built with high quality, kiln-dried, solid wood frames. To reduce our carbon footprint, we believe in shopping less, but focusing on higher-quality, durable designs.
Natural Materials
Domestic wood frame materials are supplied by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative and other verified sources. Computerized waste minimization makes efficiency and reduction of waste. All polyurethane foam in our cushions is Certi-PUR US certified and sourced locally in North Carolina. Upholstery paddings are comprised of 100% recycled polyester fibers. In addition to this, all fabrics and leathers meet UFAC 1 Flammability Standard without the addition of flame retardants.
