Assembly Troubleshooting - Corner Seat Modules
Having trouble getting your Allform armchair or sofa together? We’re here to help with some detailed troubleshooting steps. Below, we’ll focus on the connection of your Corner Seat Modules - the combination of a Corner Seat Base and two Corner Seat Back pieces. We’ll also provide assistance for connecting your Corner Seat Module to the rest of your sofa to complete the assembly process.
For any sofa model that includes a single corner (L-sectional) or two separate corners (U-sectional), you will need to connect both Corner Seat Back pieces with the Corner Seat Base before attaching the corner module to any other parts of your sofa.
Step 1
Lay out your Corner Seat Back Right, Corner Seat Back Left, and Corner Seat Base.
Please remember the Corner Seat Back components are labeled from the perspective of standing in front of and facing the sofa. The Corner Seat Back Right will include a Base Plate on the left of the Seat Back and the Corner Seat Back Left will include an Opening Plate on the right of the Seat Back.

Step 2
Connecting the Corner Seat Back components
- Screw the Connecting Pin into the Base Plate on your Corner Seat Back Right.
- With both the Corner Seat Back Right and Corner Seat Back Left standing upright, align the connecting pin with the Opening Plate on the Corner Seat Back Left.
- Carefully insert the Connecting Pin into the top of the Opening Plate.
- Once fully inserted, apply downward pressure on the top of the Corner Seat Back Right and upward pressure on the Corner Seat Back Left to lock the Connecting Pin into place.
Step 3
Attaching the Corner Seat Base
- Lay the connected Corner Seat Backs down so the Corner Seat Back Right is flat against the ground and the Corner Seat Back Left is angled up.
- Align the Corner Seat Base with the bottom cutout on each Corner Seat Back. The Corner Seat Base shelf will fit snugly into the Corner Seat Back cutouts.
- With a Metal Washer added, securely fasten a T-Bolt into the two holes on the bottom of each Corner Seat Back.
- With a Leg Washer added, securely fasten one leg into the hole provided on the bottom of the Corner Seat Back Left.
- Flip the now connected Corner Seat Module upright.
Step 4
Connecting the corner Seat Module with the remaining Seat Modules
- Screw a Connecting Pin into the Base Plate arranged on the left side of each Corner Seat Back Left.
- Lay the connected Corner Seat Module down so the Corner Seat Back Right is again flat against the ground and the Corner Seat Back Left is angled up.
- Align the Connecting Pin from the Seat Module to your right with the Opening Plate on the Corner Seat Back Right.
- Carefully insert the Connecting Pin into the top of the Opening Plate.
- Once fully inserted, apply pressure in the direction of the Seat Base on your right Seat Back. Apply opposite pressure on the Corner Seat Back Right.
- With your Connecting Pin now securely locking the Seat Backs in place, locate your Center Panel and align it with the cutout between the bottom of your two Seat Bases.
- With a Metal Washer added, securely fasten each T-Bolt into the four holes on your Center Panel.
- With a Leg Washer added, securely fasten one leg into each of the two holes above and below the Center Panel.
- Repeat steps to connect each remaining Seat Module.
